Michael established SportsPhysioSA in 2012

He graduated in 1981 and has worked extensively throughout Australia and Europe. He has been the team physio for a number of Australian and UK national teams and travelled to major sporting events in all parts of the world including the Athens and Beijing Olympic games.

Michael was Lead physiotherapist for both the English Institute of Sport and the Australian Institute of Sport’s European Training Centre, based in Italy. In all, he has been involved in elite sport for more than 30 years!

Michael has post-graduate qualifications in Sports Physiotherapy, Manipulative Therapy and Acupuncture / Dry Needling. He has a special interest in patient education and self-management strategies with a strong treatment bias towards exercise-based management plans.

Michael is passionate about sport (which includes virtually everything) and enjoys food and travel.

Favourite sports team: AFL – Geelong, NRL – NQ Cowboys, BBL – Melbourne Stars
