Michael established SportsPhysioSA in 2012 after returning to Australia in 2011. He has worked in Australia, the UK, Europe and the USA with a variety of sports and worked at the Athens and Beijing Olympic games. Michael was the Lead physiotherapist for both the English Institute of Sport and the Australian Institute of Sport’s European Training Centre, based in Italy.
Michael has post-graduate qualifications in Sports Physiotherapy, Manipulative Therapy and Acupuncture. He has reduced his clinical hours to devote more time to exercise-based treatments: individual and group functional strength training (incorporating Pilates and Kinetic Link Training) and the GLA:D program for hip and knee arthritis.
