Rachel BUTLER

Senior Physiotherapist

Rachel, an experienced musculo-skeletal physiotherapist from the UK, is the newest member of the SportsPhysioSA team.

She gained her Physiotherapy degree in 2000 from Sheffield Hallam University and worked in the NHS progressing to a senior position and was responsible for assessment, diagnosis, planning and developing musculoskeletal physiotherapy treatment programs for a wide range of complex problems.

Rachel was also involved in the supervision and training of student physiotherapists before re-locating to Australia in 2016.

She has been working in the aged care sector but is looking forward to using her knowledge and skills in a practice which has a special interest in sports and musculo-skeletal conditions.

Outside of work, Rachel is involved in Surf Life-Saving (& has a Bronze medallion) and swimming and has worked at both State and National events.
